Detail-Search
The Detail-Search enables you to search for each and every bit of information within the text of the encyclopedia, i.e. geographical names (in the title and/or entry details), descriptions (in entry details), and finally the numeric identification of an entry (in the "Kennung" field).
You can enter names, words, numbers, or fragments of words, and for each of your entries, choose from a drop-down list: "starting with", "ending with", "is equal to", "contains", or "does not contain" your entered words.
The example below is a concrete question, which was sent to Hic Leones by a researcher from Maisach, Upper Bavaria:
In the beginning of the 18th century (nota bene: 200 years before the publication of the Ritter-Lexicon), a man from Upper Bavaria left his hometown of Maisach to emigrate to "Remberingen, Lotteringen in the Herrschaft Seralba". Where could this be?
Searching for these three names in the exact spelling did not yield any result. However, when the Detail-Search was carried out with the fragments "re" (in the "Namensteil" (part of a name)), as well as "lot" and "alb" (in the "Beschreibung" (description)), two entries were found, which should be checked as potential targets:

Hint: In the Detail-Search, up to six criteria can be combined in this way (here we only show three).
